How to Solve the Weeping Portal Puzzle in Phantom Blade Zero
Players will come across the Weeping Portal puzzle towards the end of the Crimson Forest region, near the Mirrorwood Depths bell in Phantom Blade Zero.
Once you enter the area, it’s recommended to pick up the memory flower in the center of the enclosed wooded area before proceeding with the puzzle.
The solution to the weeping portal puzzle is simple. You’ll need to get near each portal and listen for the sound of weeping. The portal that emits the clearest weeping sound is the correct one. Choosing the wrong portal will just teleport Soul to the beginning of the area.
Now, you’ll need to enter the weeping portals in the following order.
- Left Portal (West)
- Front Portal (North)
- Right Portal (East)
After you successfully pick the correct first three weeping portals in Phantom Blade Zero, you’ll need to interact with the portal at the front (north) to enter the second part of the puzzle. Similar to the previous section, it’s recommended to pick up two memory flowers in this area before proceeding forward.
Here’s the correct order of weeping portals that you’ll need to choose.

Once you complete the two weeping portal puzzle areas in Phantom Blade Zero, you’ll reach the Threadbound Great Tree bell. Now, you can proceed forward and start the fight with Bai Chilian, Lady of the Twin Serpents boss.
