The world of Solo Leveling is inhabited by some of the most dangerous creatures known to humankind. However, the world wasn’t always a horrible place. As a matter of fact, there was peace and freedom throughout the world. Naturally, the appearance of gates, dungeons, and magical beasts changed everything. This also led to several people being awakened as hunters. These individuals had higher magic reserves than ordinary people, which enabled them to fight the monsters and close the gate before they could cause any breakouts.
With time, the appearance of gates became increasingly common, so the hunters had to find a way to get more organized and to stop the creatures from causing havoc. This ultimately led to the creation of guilds. With guilds, hunters could streamline their operations and deal with any threats in the best way possible. In Solo Leveling, there are currently many guilds, but only one truly deserves to be called the strongest.
Sung Jinwoo’s Ahjin Guild Is The Strongest In Solo Leveling
When the guilds in Korea were revealed, everyone was extremely shocked to see their strength. Each guild featured S-rank hunters, along with everyone in A class and below. Initially, these guilds seemed strong enough to handle any threat or challenge thrown at them, but with time it became clear that they were not completely infallible. The Jeju Island raid is the best example of the Korean guilds being incapable of targeting and beating high-level threats.
However, the situation isn’t the same across the world. Guilds that are headed by national-level hunters are a cut above the rest. The sole reason is that they have a national-level hunter leading them. For the uninitiated, national-level hunters are considered to be the strongest hunters in existence. They received the rank after beating the legendary magical beast called Kamish. Before their arrival, Kamish was able to annihilate several S-rank hunters almost effortlessly. To him, the ranking did not matter, as they were just numbers to increase his overall body count. The national-level hunters would not have accomplished the goal if they hadn’t been blessed by the rulers who gave them fragments of their power. Following their success, the hunters became heroes throughout the world, resulting in a massive increase in their overall fame. The countries that they belonged to started treating them as valuable assets that were essential to their survival.
Out of all national-level hunters, Thomas Andre stands at the very top. He is the number-one-ranked hunter in the world, meaning there is no one else who can match him in terms of combat. Thomas Andre used his leverage and power to create the Scavenger Guild, and in no time it became the most feared guild in not just America but the entire world. The Scavenger Guild has dominated proceedings for quite some time, but it may not be long before things finally change.
In Solo Leveling: Beyond the System, fans will witness the creation of the Ahjine Guild, and its guild master will be none other than Sung Jinwoo. The hero’s decision to create a guild by himself may surprise the audience, but given his strength, it is the right move. If he joined one of the pre-existing guilds in Korea or anywhere else, it would cause great imbalance. The other guilds would start to feel pointless, and some of them would straight up be closed, or they would see their members leave for greener pastures. By staying independent and creating his own guild, Jinwoo avoided all of that.
Solo Leveling Beyond The System Will Reveal New Secrets
Once Jinwoo forms his guild, the first person to join him would be Yoo Jinho. The two have been together since the first season of the anime, and during that time they have combated many challenges and achieved a great deal of success. The second person to join will be Jinwoo’s cousin, Yoo Soohyun, who is an A-rank hunter. Considering Sung Jinwoo’s strength, it’s quite obvious he doesn’t need any real support, and he’s only taking recruits to match the requirements for his guild to be recognized both domestically and internationally.
What’s interesting is that Cha Hae-In will try her luck and try to join Jinwoo’s guild. Her reason for joining the Ahjin Guild is rather simple. She is fond of Jinwoo, and being in the same guild would allow her to get closer to the hero. Solo Leveling fans are already aware that Jinwoo and ChaHyun have some kind of connection, and the events of the Jeju Island raid have only made it clearer. While Jinwoo is still somewhat indifferent to the whole situation, Cha Hae-In seems to be more direct. If she didn’t have any kind of romantic feelings towards Jinwoo, it wouldn’t make sense for her to leave the Hunters Guild, which is considered to be the strongest in the country.
Since Jinwoo is unable to turn her away, he decides to put her through a test in which she has to fight Igris, one of Jinwoo’s strongest shadow soldiers, as one of the S-rank hunters. Shanghai Inn is able to beat Egress without too many problems. As a result, Jinwoo is left with no choice but to send out Beru. Given how Beru demolished Cha Hae-In on Jeju Island, the fight was obviously going to end in the shadow’s favor. Cha Hae-In’s addition would have made the Ahjin guild stronger, but her rejection did lead to the beginning of a new romance in Solo Leveling.
Once the Ahjin Guild is officially formed and recognized, Jinwoo will be able to carry out missions without having to seek permission freely. If he were in another guild, he would have to ask for the guild master’s permission. Since Jinwoo has an army of Shadow soldiers, he can clear multiple gates and collect resources in almost no time. Being a guild master will also open up other opportunities, such as being invited to the international guilds conference.
Aside from covering the formation of the strongest guild in Solo Leveling, the upcoming Beyond the System movie will also adapt the double dungeon arc in which Jinwoo heads to Cartenon Temple. It is the same place where the hero nearly lost his life but, fortunately, ended up becoming the player in the system. Naturally, the Cartenon Temple holds a lot of importance to the overall story of Solo Leveling. When the arc is finally covered, fans will learn a lot about the system and the rest of the Solo Leveling world. Additionally, Jinwoo will come face to face with Kandiaru, the architect of the system and one of the strongest characters in the series. All in all, Solo Leveling: Beyond the System is shaping up to be one of the most hyped anime releases of 2027.
