Images have leaked from what appears to be the tenth generation of Pokemon games. Though Pokemon fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, some players are already looking forward to what the future will hold for the series past that point.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was a difficult spot for the Pokemon series, with the games promising a lot but struggling to deliver at launch. Technical problems, visual glitches, and bugs kept players from enjoying the games to their fullest, but a series of patches helped to iron out the worst of it. Since then, the launch of the Switch 2 has allowed Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to perform much better, which has served to excite fans as to what future Pokemon games built for the Switch 2 will be like.
Pokemon Gen 10 Images Leak Online
A slew of Pokemon leaks have recently emerged on the web, and with them, two images allegedly showing the next Pokemon games in development. Previous leaks have indicated that the next Pokemon games, currently thought to be titled Pokemon Wind and Waves, will be set in Southeast Asia and Indonesia-like regions, and fittingly, the images shared by CentroLeaks have a tropical and jungle-like appearance. One image shows a better view of the landscape, with towering trees, low-lying foliage, and Pokemon scattered everywhere, going about their daily lives as the trainer looks on. A second image shows how full of life the region could be, with multiple Pokemon around, with some health bars indicating the presence of more lurking in the area.
The leaked images, in combination with some of the other information that’s leaked, like claims that Pokemon Wind and Waves will include procedural generation, have led to a lot of curiosity from the community at large. Other claims include the addition of new Baby Pokemon, with an emphasis on Weather Moves. The opening of the game may be considerably different from predecessor as well, as it’s alleged that players will visit a hotel that will kick off their adventure, rather than starting off on a journey from a Professor close to home.
While these rumors are tantalizing, it’s important to take them with a grain of salt until they’re corroborated or denied by official sources. It’s also possible for valid information to change during the development cycle, with some players pointing to how early development images of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet looked quite different from the game players eventually got. For now, though, this is likely to stir a lot more excitement for the future of Pokemon.
