Battlefield 6: All Weapon Stats, Explained

If Marc’s not knee-deep in Destiny 2, then he’s probably drowning in indie or early access titles in search of the next big hit.

Every gun in Battlefield 6 has a number of different stats associated with them, and unfortunately, the game doesn’t clarify what most of them do. Some, like reload speed, are self-explanatory, but Mobility and Precision can mean a lot of different things. These stats are all important, especially when you’re building your guns in BF6, so you’ll want to know what each of them does.

There are nine different stats shown on the info screens for every gun in Battlefield 6, and while four of them are fully featured with arbitrary numbers and meters, the rest are indicated by smaller numbers found in the bottom-right corner of your screen. These in-game weapon stats include:

Battlefield 6 Weapon Stats

Hipfire

Affects your weapon’s accuracy when you are not aiming down sights. A higher Hipfire stat tightens your initial shot grouping and reduces bloom while hipfiring.

Precision

Affects your weapon bloom in BF6 while aiming down sights. Higher Precision reduces the effects of bloom, making your gun more accurate while firing long bursts.

Control

Control measures the intensity of your gun’s recoil. Weapons with a high Control stat shake less violently when firing, though recoil pattern remains unaffected.

Mobility

Mobility reflects your movement speed and accuracy while aiming. This also reflects your speed when you are shooting while aiming down sights.

Fire Mode

Lets you toggle between Semi, Burst, and Full Auto firing modes, depending on which ones are available to your chosen gun.

ADS Time In

Refers to how quickly you raise your weapon to aim down sights. This value is measured in milliseconds.

Reload Speed

Determines how quickly you can reload your weapon — measured in seconds.

Muzzle Velocity

The speed at which the bullets from your weapon fly toward your target — measured in meters per second.

Headshot Multiplier

Multiplies your weapon’s damage by a set amount when you score a headshot. Most weapons have a x1.34 multiplier, while DMRs and sniper rifles have x1.50 and x1.75 respectively.

The majority of these stats are affected by different attachments. If you want a gun that makes you more accurate while moving, then prioritize using attachments that improve your Precision and Mobility stats. Different attachment categories affect different stats:

  • Muzzle devices primarily affect Control, reducing the recoil you feel in Battlefield 6.
  • Underbarrel grips also mainly affect Control, but some options also affect Mobility and Precision by making you more or less accurate when firing or moving.
  • Magazines affect your ammo count and reload speed, but often at the cost of Mobility.
  • Laser accessories drastically improve your Hipfire, but they make you easier to spot.
  • Ergonomics attachments improve Reload Speed and Control, but not all weapons have access to the same options.
  • Ammo types affect either Control, Mobility or Headshot Multiplier.
