The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity anime might be getting an update soon. The anime’s official X account has announced a special event called the Blooming Party, set for November 1, 2025, in Tokyo, teasing that new details about the series could be revealed.
A new promotional visual accompanied the announcement, showing the main characters together. The event will be held at Iino Hall with the main voice cast in attendance. While the nature of the update isn’t confirmed yet, fans suspect it could involve news about the next season. Any big announcements that happen at the event are expected to be shared online shortly after the event.

The 13-episode first season of the anime aired from July to September 2025, animated by CloverWorks.
Based on Saka Mikami’s manga, The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity is known for its soft art style and heartfelt storytelling. The series follows Rintaro Tsumugi, a kind boy from Chidori Public High School, and Kaoruko Waguri, a refined girl from Kikyo Private Academy. Despite their schools’ rivalry, the two form an unlikely friendship after meeting at Rintaro’s family bakery.
The manga is published by Kodansha under the Shōnen Magazine Comics imprint, with English editions available through Kodansha USA. Twenty volumes have been released in Japan, with nine translated into English so far.
