Dendro characters have some of the best reactions in Genshin Impact. Their reactions got even better with the release of Nod Krai and the addition of Lunar reactions. For Nefer, she triggers a Lunar Bloom reaction if her team has a Hydro character to apply their element. As a character who deals DMG on the field, Nefer additionally needs off-field characters, even Dendro ones, as long as they increase her DPS. Here are the best teams for Nefer in Genshin Impact, including her premium and F2P options.
Nefer Team Comp In Genshin Impact
Based on her kit and her constant need for Lunar Bloom reactions, it’s hard to include Nefer in any Hyperbloom team in Genshin Impact. Characters like Ineffa would constantly compete with Nefer over Aino’s Hydro application, which would reduce both of their DMG. It’s also not ideal to remove Lauma from Nefer’s best team in Genshin Impact, because that will cost her an insane amount of DPS. So, the best solution is to stick with exclusive Dendro and Hydro teams for Nefer. Here are some of Nefer’s best teams in Genshin Impact.
- Nefer premium team: Nefer + Aino + Lauma + Nilou
- Nefer F2P team: Nefer + Aino + Xingqiu + Dendro MC
Nefer + Aino + Lauma + Nilou
If you want Nefer to always perform at her best, it’s necessary to always include Lauma in her teams. It’s more important than going for Nefer’s C1 or getting her Signature weapon. Lauma has the ability to notably lower enemies’ resistance to Dendro while massively increasing the DMG of Lunar Bloom reactions. She also buffs the Crit value of Lunar Bloom reactions, which is another reason why Lauma is a perfect pair with Nefer in Genshin Impact.
As for the rest of the team, Nefer’s team needs a Hydro user to help trigger the lunar Bloom reactions. One of the best options is Aino, as she’s a Nod Krai character who provides great off-field Hydro application. Additionally, Aino gets better as a support in Genshin Impact with her first and last constellation. The first constellation increases the team’s Elemental Mastery by 80, while C6 Aino buffs the team’s Lunar Bloom DMG.
Finally, the last spot in Nefer’s team is more of a flex spot, as the team is already dealing incredible DMG with Nefer, Aino, and Lauma. Nilou is always good with exclusive Dendro and Hydro teams, as she replaces their Bloom reactions with Bountiful Blooms that deals much more DMG based on Nilou’s HP. She’s also one of the best Hydro enablers while barely taking any field time. You can replace Nilou with Sucrose, who offers the team a lot of Elemental Mastery when she Swirls Aino’s Hydro. You can also replace her with a third Dendro character like Nahida or Baizhu, who also offer major buffs to Elemental Mastery and Dendro reactions in Genshin Impact. In the end, it’s worth noting that C2 Nahida is the best character to occupy the 4th flex spot in Nefer’s teams, as she would do wonders with all the extra Crit value the team has from all 5-star characters in Genshin Impact.
Nefer + Aino + Xingqiu + Dendro MC
Losing Lauma is a major loss for Nefer, but any 5-star character does less DMG when losing their best pairs in Genshin Impact. However, Aino is still here to increase the team’s Moonsign level to Ascendant Gleam. Since Nefer and her team need to trigger as much Lunar Bloom as possible, it’s better to include characters like Xingqiu and Dendro Traveler who can constantly apply their elements while not on the field. It’s important to include another Dendro character, as Nefer is already losing a lot of buffs. So, having the Dendro Resonance’s Elemental Mastery buff is going to make it up a little.
It’s important to note that Xingqiu doesn’t fully work with Nefer, as she deals DMG through her Charged attacks, while Xingqiu follows up with Hydro attacks when the active character uses their Normal attacks. Yet, he can still enable Hydro when Nefer contacts enemies. Not to mention, you can always sneak a Normal attack before using Nefer’s combo.
