Naruto: Kishimoto Reveals The Strongest Kage In History

This article contains spoilers from the Boruto series.

When it comes to the strongest ninjas in the world of Naruto, the Kage are often up there with the very best. A Kage is someone who leads a Ninja village, governs all its actions, and, above all, protects all the people. Naturally, to achieve this, Kage usually have to be very powerful. Usually, the strongest ninjas of a village get to be the Kage, but that hasn’t always been the case.

Still, the Kage of the Naruto world are always very impressive and can hold their own against even the biggest of threats. Each of the five great villages has its own Kage in the world of Naruto, and there are many generations of Kage that have existed over the years, with Hashirama Senju being the first Kage of all. Many consider Hashirama Senju, the God of Shinobi and Konoha’s first Hokage, to be the strongest Kage of all. However, through his many databooks and the source material, that is, the manga itself, Kishimoto has already confirmed Naruto Uzumaki to be the strongest Kage of all time.

Naruto Uzumaki Is The Strongest Kage In The Ninja World

Naruto Surpassed Hashirama Senju

  • Naruto became the Hokage after Kakashi Hatake
  • Hashirama Senju was the second strongest

Even though the Naruto world gave the fans a good look at some of the most overpowered Kage over the years, such as the likes of the First Hokage Hashirama Senju and the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze, the one that stands on top of them all is the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki.

Naruto is, by far, the strongest Kage, as confirmed by Kishimoto himself. With the power of Kurama, he is almost unstoppable, but when his Six Paths Powers are stacked on top, Naruto becomes so strong that he can actually take on all the other Kage in the world of Naruto combined at once, and still win effortlessly.

What’s crazier is that this isn’t even Naruto’s peak. In Boruto, Naruto Uzumaki grows so strong that he can surpass Momoshiki Otsutsuki in power, rivaling his fused form with Kinshiki. This boost in power can be attributed to years of accumulated experience, and on top of that, a second half of Kurama being bestowed upon him after the war. There is also the Baryon Mode to consider, which makes Naruto so strong that he can easily beat all shinobi and even gods, but even without it, Naruto is simply untouchable.

Sarada Uchiha Might Reach Naruto’s Level

She Will Become The Hokage In The Future

Sarada activates her Mangekyo

Right now, Naruto Uzumaki remains the strongest Hokage ever in the history of the franchise, with the likes of Hashirama and Minato following behind closely. However, in the future, Naruto might be surpassed by the next generation. As fans know already, Sarada Uchiha wants to be the next Hokage of Konoha and fans know very well that she will eventually accomplish this dream. With her immensely powerful Mangekyo Sharingan and the ability to reach higher heights than most, Sarada truly has in it her to reach the level that was attained by the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki.

Of course, whether or not she’ll accomplish that remains to be seen. But, she certainly does have a very bright future. Sarada will also likely be following either Shikamaru Nara or Konohamaru Sarutobi as the Hokage, and compared to those two, who are most certainly two of the most underwhelming and weakest Kage ever, Sarada will be quite a step up for the village.
