How to evolve Clobbopus in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Clobbopus needs a special move in order to evolve. It learns it from leveling up, so with a bit of training, you should have a Grapploct in no time.

Note that this is a Pokémon that was added to the Hyperspace Pokédex as part of the Mega Dimension DLC, but you don’t technically need the DLC in order to use this Pokémon. As long as you can get somebody with the DLC to catch and trade you one of these little fellas, you can use it in your DLC-less game.

Clobbopus can evolve into Grapploct once it learns the move Taunt, which it learns at level 35.

If you caught your Clobbopus and it’s already higher than level 35, it’s probably already ready to evolve and you just need to evolve it from the menu. If your Clobbopus is over level 35 and it doesn’t have the usual evolution prompt, check its moves. If it doesn’t know Taunt, you should be able to simply re-teach it Taunt and it’ll be good to go!

You can find Clobbopus in random Hyperspace Lumiose portals. Just look for the silouettes of its rounded head, if you don’t have it already. If you’re too lazy to do all of the above, you can also catch Grapploct straight-up, also in Hyperspace Lumiose portals. To refresh the portals that are currently available to you, you can pass the time on a bench and get a new set.
