EA Sports has announced a server maintenance for FC 26 on Nov. 7, and it will take down the servers for quite a significant amount of time.
This is the first major server maintenance we have had this year. The exact purpose of the maintenance hasn’t been mentioned, but it appears to be routine in nature. The developers have already announced a timeline for the server downtime, which includes information on when they will go down and when the online services will be restored.
FC 26 server maintenance countdown (Nov. 7): Start and end times
The server maintenance will begin at 11pm PT (Nov. 6)/1am CT/2am ET/7am UTC on Nov. 7. The actual downtime begins 30 minutes before the times mentioned here. Matchmaking will be disabled, and you won’t be able to start a fresh match.
This countdown will help you keep track of when the servers are back once again.
According to EA Sports, the servers will be down for approximately seven hours. The countdown is based on the following timings. Once it expires, you should expect to enjoy normal matchmaking once again in FC 26.
- 6am PT
- 8am CT
- 9am ET
- 2pm UTC
There’s always a chance for EA Sports to extend the maintenance beyond routine hours. We will update the information if something like that happens.
While the maintenance is live, the servers will be inoperational. All modes that utilize online matchmaking and require internet connectivity will be out of order. This includes the popular Ultimate Team mode, which requires a persistent internet connection to play. Even if you manage to log in, attempting to create a match will result in an error.
You can try out offline modes like Manager Career, which don’t require any active internet connection. Offline modes won’t have any problem, and you can also complete objectives to earn SP to fast-track your Season 2 progression.
