James Bond is known for its cars, and 007 First Light from Hitman developer IO Interactive will be no exception.
As shared at this evening’s Xbox Partner Preview showcase, the upcoming espionage caper will feature Aston Martin’s Valhalla supercar, which is to say Aston Martin’s first-ever mid-engine plug-in hypercar.
The car itself was inspired by Aston Martin’s Valkyrie, but this chap has been “infused” with advanced Formula 1 technologies. There are only going to be 999 units worldwide, so lucky ol’ (actually, make that lucky young) Bond, eh?
“The reveal of Valhalla in 007 First Light marks one of the many steps our team is taking to honour the iconic cars that define the Bond legacy,” said Hakan Abrak, CEO of IO Interactive. “Cars have always been at the core of the James Bond experience, reflecting his style, ingenuity, and daring personality.
“With the debut of Valhalla, players will encounter a machine that embodies that spirit, capturing the excitement of Bond’s world and the timeless elegance of his vehicles.”
You can see its 007 First Light counterpart in the images below. Obviously, Bond’s has a few modcons
007 First Light will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC on 27th March next year. Elsewhere this evening we got a peep at the awesome looking Tides of Annihilation and more.
