Palworld has announced a new update in December titled ‘Home Sweet Home’, which includes a vast amount of base customisation options as well as a crossover with one of the coolest indie games in recent memory. It’s set to release just around the corner too, on the 17th December.
This game is Ultrakill, the high-intensity ultraviolent FPS by Arsi Patala, which is coming to Pocketpair’s open world creature collection game. As part of the Home Sweet Home update, players will be able to venture the world as either V1 or V2, reflecting bullets off flipped coins and blasting away Pals with a new shotgun.
When not murdering animals in-game, you’ll be able to change the colours of your bases through new customisation tools which should make your abode feel more homely. A variety of colours can be seen in the new trailer, all of which are quite vibrant.
Palworld and Pocketpair continue trucking along all this time after its explosive release back in 2024. As you may know, the developer has been in the midst of a legal battle with Nintendo over alleged patent infringement. This has actually been leaning in Pocketpair’s favour, with a recent rejection of Nintendo’s patent throwing a spanner in the works for Nintendo.
In addition, earlier this month Nintendo’s patent covering the summoning of a sub character to battle an enemy was ordered to be reassessed in the USA. A rare occasion that too could spell trouble for Nintendo’s lawsuit.
