Black Friday can help you save a bundle on Alienware desktops with RTX 5080 GPUs

With manufacturers looking to raise prices to fuel the AI age we’re sleepwalking blindly towards, Black Friday weekend might offer the last chance to save on PC hardware for a while.

We’ve already seen a solid iBuyPower PC build reduced at Walmart, but if you’re looking for extra grunt, then the Alienware Aurora deals might well be worth a look. Dell is offering price drops as high as 30% on various models of the Aurora R16.

Save hundreds on Alienware desktop PCs

All of the models we’re talking about here have the RTX 5080 GPU inside, offering a great balance between 4K gaming and high frame rates without getting comically overpriced. That means they lean on 50-series tech like NVIDIA’s DLSS 4, allowing for multi-frame generation to keep frame rates high.

It’s far from a perfect solution, but it seems to be the way we’re going nowadays.

Aside from the GPU, a rig with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, as well as an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, will run you $1,814.99 with the Black Friday deals, a 30% drop on the $2,579.99 MSRP.

From there, you can spec upwards of course. A model with an Intel Core Ultra 9, 2TB of storage, 32GB of RAM, and that same RTX 5080 will set you back $2,249.99, down from $3,199.99 (another 30% drop).

Finally, a $3,399.99 model is now $2,449.99 (a 28% price cut) and includes the same as above, only with 64GB of DDR5 RAM.

Naturally, that’s a steep price, but the Aurora R16 can also be configured with something like an RTX 5060 for $999.99 at the lower end.

Personally, this case is much more fetching than my big, bulky PC, and I appreciate the neon accents, too.
