Save 0 on the Lenovo Legion Go S with SteamOS this Black Friday weekend

Black Friday weekend may not offer the same deals it once did, but that’s not to say there aren’t savings to be had.

Fresh off of Walmart knocking $500 off of an RTX 5070 prebuild, Best Buy has lopped $250 off of the price of Lenovo’s SteamOS-packing Legion GO S, bringing the $900 handheld PC down to $649.99.

This is a great price for a SteamOS Lenovo handheld

Is it worth the money? It’s packing 32GB of RAM and has 512GB storage, while the Z1 Extreme is a powerhouse that goes beyond the Steam Deck, while also enjoying all the inherent benefits of running SteamOS.

It’s also got a larger 8-inch display than Valve’s machine, while offering 1200p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Not only that, but the Lenovo Legion S Z2 Go is cheaper again, dropping from $649.99 down to $449.99 at the same retailer.

Not as powerful as the aforementioned model, it’s still technically more performant than the Steam Deck and still offers SteamOS.

In our review of the console (or should that be PC?), James Archer noted that the system has some nifty magnetic joysticks and a performance bump over the Steam Deck, and was very pleased to see SteamOS out in the wild.

“The Legion Go S proves that it’s better than the slower, fatter, data-obsessed alternative that non-Valve portables have inherited from desktops. Maybe this device isn’t the best of its kind, but it is an important torchbearer, and overall is decent enough to at least avoid undermining the moment.”
