The second half of Season 1 has just started, and players are already daydreaming about Season 2. Rumor has it something grand might be the theme for the next Season. According to some leaks, the Hellfire Gala will be the focus of Season 2 in Marvel Rivals.
Leaks Show Off the Banner of the Hellfire Club
As you know by now, Marvel Rivals developers are keeping the game quite fresh, and they continuously release quite a lot of new content. This means that there are plenty of leaks floating around the social media.
Well, some leakers recently found something quite interesting in the game files – the banner of the Hellfire Club. One proficient leaker, XOXLEAK, posted an image of the banner. They noted: “The Hellfire Club is active”.
For those in the unknown, the Hellfire Club is a society of the most influential, richest, and most famous mutants. They often headbutt with the X-Men. Since 2021, the members have organized the annual Hellfire Gala, similar to the Met Gala.
Marvel Rivals Players Would Love to Experience the Hellfire Gala
As you may have expected, the Marvel Rivals community was quite excited by the leaks and the idea of the Hellfire Gala. Of course, that would also mean that some new mutants would be joining the roster.
MarbledJelly noted: “Hellfire Club Banner found in files. Combined with confirmation Doom 2099 will be attending the Hellfire Gala next season, it’s looking likely Emma Frost will be joining Blade as one of our Season 2 Heroes. But, that’s just speculation on my part”.
Of course, there’s a possibility that Blade would be dropped before Season 2, as the devs already teased his arrival. Another player, trixxupmysleeve, suggested: “Number one Emma and Jean advocate here. Life is worth living. I can imagine they’ll just drop Blade whenever in the next coming weeks as he gets freed in the story and the Dracula stuff is wrapped up”.
Pristine_Culture_741 added: “I believe Emma Frost will come right after Blade, which will kick off the season. The X-Men season, where basically we can go into that Season already having Emma Frost, to then get Jean Grey”.
Now, the devs said they’ll release two Heroes per Season, so maybe this is all just wishful thinking. However, the developers have been listening to players on other matters, so it’s also possible they’ll cave and give the players what they want. We’ll have to wait and see.
