How to Get More Gear Recipes in Endfield

How to Get More Gear Recipes in Endfield

When it comes to powering up your Operators in Arknights Endfield, just leveling them up and giving them the best weapons you can find won’t be enough. You’ll also need to equip them with different Gear pieces that give their stats further boosts. These work much like the typical equippable item system seen in other gacha games, but with a few key differences, the first of which being their acquisition method. Instead of farming for Gear, players will need Gear Templates, which further ties into Endfield’s greater factory management system.

How To Increase Power Output In Arknights Endfield

It’s easy to get past the 200 power limit in Arknights: Endfield.

At the beginning of the game, players will gradually unlock a variety of basic Gear Templates just by increasing their Authority Level (though some Templates will have to be found or bought later on). You will naturally unlock more Gear Templates by playing the game, though this also means that the best equipment in the game won’t be available to you until you reach a certain point in the story.

Gear Templates are essentially crafting recipes for all the equipment your Operators can use. You can craft Gear by entering AIC mode then selecting the Gear Assembly Option that appears in the lower-right side of the screen.

Gear comes in four different rarities:

  • Grey/Green
  • Blue
  • Purple
  • Gold

All pieces of Gear provide bonuses to your Operators’ basic stats and attributes, with higher-rarity ones providing bigger bonuses. There are also Gear Sets that provide set-specific bonuses. These will significantly enhance your Operators’ capabilities, and much of the buildcrafting in Endfield revolves around getting the right sets for your characters.

The stats on your Gear are fixed. You won’t have to worry about getting a piece that has the perfect stat roll, but if you want to min-max your Gear, you’ll unlock the Artificing option once you make enough progress in the story.

Crafting Gear

All Gear can be crafted via the Gear Assembly menu. However, the resources needed to fabricate your new equipment can only be obtained through the Automated Industry Complex (AIC, a.k.a. your base factory).

You’ll need different types of resources to make different tiers of gear, which means you’ll always have to pay attention to what your AIC is producing. When you find a new type of resource, do your best to add it to your logistics chain. You’ll need all the resources you can get if you want to upgrade your items.
