There have been some leaks that claimed the game would focus on the Hellfire Gala in Season 2. Players didn’t take these rumors too seriously, as with any other leak, it’s better to take it with a grain of salt. However, as it turns out, the leaks might have been right. An eagle-eyed Marvel Rivals player noticed a hint in-game that could point to Hellfire Gala happening quite soon.
You Can Find the Hellfire Gala Hint on a Gallery Card
How much attention do you pay to Gallery Cards? You might take a glance, or hastily read through, but not many players soak up all the details. Well, one player paid attention and noticed something amazing.
DynamiteDynamo10 posted a screenshot of the latest Gallery Card, Plans Within Plans, and pointed to the very last sentence. This player noted: “Season 2 is hellfire gala confirmed in the game”. Sure enough, the last sentence states: “Now, if you will excuse me, Doom has a gala to attend”.
Now, this revelation caused quite a hype in the community. Players were overjoyed that they’d get to attend the Gala at some point. Of course, this prompted the conversation about the Heroes that might be added to the roster.
Many players claimed that Emma Frost was a must, others hoped for Jean Grey. However, the OP, DynamiteDynamo10, noticed a possible pattern. This player said: ” I think the heroes come the season AFTER the map that teases them. Central Park > we free Blade > He joins in s2. Hellfire Gala > Doom Betrays the club/Emma > she joins us in s3. New Klyntar map > we know Captain Marvel and Phoenix are on Klyntar > join us in s4″.
Well, the truth is that we don’t know yet, but we’re sure the devs will let us know when the moment is right. Until then, we can only hope that Emma Frost will arrive at the beginning of the Season, not the end.
Marvel Rivals Community Appreciates the Hint
Still, many Marvel Rivals players were smitten because of the fact that the devs gave a hint about the Hellfire Gala, probably meant they were working on creating more Costumes for all the Heroes. Since the Hellfire Gala is THE fashion event, you can probably have quite high expectations.
One player, coolcurtain4502, made a collection of their favorite ideas for the Gala Costumes. They noted: “Chat the Hellfire Gala skins might be coming soon”. We have to admit, all of these are amazing.
Of course, players had their favorites. Medant joked: “That Psylocke skin alone will increase NetEase Gross profit by 6%”. DannySorensen added: “Psylocke is the queen of skins already. The vampire Hunter one and the comic accurate ones are both already so good”.
