ARC Raiders has plenty of spots that can only be opened with the correct key, and the Cellar in Blue Gate can be extremely rewarding if you manage to get in.
As with several other locations in Blue Gate, you’ll need to find the key first. All keys, barring those associated with quests, are found at random, but you’ll still have to look in all the right spots. This guide will help you find the key that unlocks the Blue Gate Cellar and where you can use the key.
Where to find the Blue Gate Cellar key in ARC Raiders
The Blue Gate Cellar key’s exact position in the game is random. You can find the key in Dam Battlegrounds. The Ruby Residence has a container that always spawns random keys based on the current map rotation. If you’re lucky, you could end up finding the key required to open the Blue Gate Cellar.
You can also try your luck at the Research and Administration building. You’ll find a container on the second floor of the building that tends to spawn keys randomly. Both these locations can also spawn keys for other areas like the Confiscation Room, Village, and Communications Tower.
Once you find the Cellar key, the next task is to head to the correct location to use the key. Do note that key spawn locations are completely random. They’re also first-come-first-serve unless tied with a quest. If you’re playing on any other map, try searching carefully in the Residential and Commercial areas.
How to use the Blue Gate Cellar key in ARC Raiders
Unlike other keys for Blue Gate locations, there are multiple Cellars where you can use the key. The one in the screenshot above is located near the Olive Grove location in Blue Gate. Go to the southern part of the map. The Cellar entrance is a bit south of Olive Grove, which is a great place to find resources like Olives and Lemons, which are required for upgrading Scrappy.
If you’re in this area, be prepared to get sniped from long range. To raise your chances of success, it’s best to play in a party. Inside, you’ll find chests and containers to breach and loot. The locked cellar is also a great source for finding valuable blueprints.
