The teaser trailer for the huge update for Season 2: Episode 2 just dropped, and… wow! The player base is obsessed, as so many things happen in less than a minute. Thus, The First Descendant players gladly analyzed every tiny detail in the “Beyond the Void” teaser trailer. Let’s see what all the fuss is about!
“Beyond the Void” Teaser Trailer Gives a First Look at Season 2: Episode 2
The trailer dropped on February 27, just as it was previously announced. The devs noted: “Sigma Sector – The Unknown Land Shrouded by the Void Storm. A desperate battle unfolds as the Descendants fight to uncover its hidden secrets. Don’t miss out on the Beyond the Void update on March 13th”.

The trailer features several Descendants we know and love, but also some new characters, some of which already have a huge fan base. So, you’ll see Ajax, Lepic, and Gley, however, you’ll also see Serena and (probably) Dia! Now, it still hasn’t been revealed what exactly will happen, but the players already have some ideas.
The First Descendant Players Share Their Interpretations of the Teaser
As you may have expected, The First Descendant community loved the teaser trailer for “Beyond the Void”. Naturally, the players had a lot of different theories. However, they all agreed on one thing – Gley wouldn’t be getting a happy ending to her story.
SpecialIcy5356 noted: “Calling it now, her and Ajax will clash. Ajax will say we gotta kill her, and Gley will not take kindly to that. We already had this with Yujin’s medical team and Sharen’s story shows they aren’t afraid to make it dark when they want to”.
Another player, vinak963, disagreed. They suggested: “I am guessing it’s the other way around. Gley decides it is her responsibility to take care of her daughter. Ajax stops her. Maybe Serena has a solution to the problem. > Dia becomes a Descendant at some point in the future”.
That brings us to the next point, even though we’re quite certain the devs said Dia wouldn’t become a Descendant, the players are all for it. Hundreds, if not thousands of players are petitioning for Dia to become a Descendant. In the wise words of AppleViper: “That girl with the enemy has a body hot enough to be potential new Descendant in the future”.
For now, we can only hope that the devs will listen to the player base. And, maybe, hope that the players will have a better reaction to the big update than they had for the latest hotfix. So, enjoy the game, and see you out there. We can’t wait for March 13.
