“Secret Agents and More Augmentation Cores!” The First Descendant Hotfix 1.2.9 Has Dropped But The Fans Have Mixed Reactions

A small but vicious update has dropped, but some fans are not sold on The First Descendant Hotfix 1.2.9.

Recently, the devs revealed that they will hold off releasing major updates until they can really make something worthwhile. That being said, they will release small updates, each one tackling a specific part of the game. The Void Erosion missions and Weapon Cores are all the rage now, and the most recent update focuses on that.

Some Fans Are Not Impressed By the The First Descendant Hotfix 1.2.9

As always, some are unhappy with the patch, but some arguments are not without sense. Some are not content with the size of the patch, with comments like “Seems like you’ve abandoned the game”. Others argue that this is due to Monster Hunter Wilds’ release this week.

However, the most reasonable criticism is the price of the new Skin set. Fans are not happy that the new Skin set, the Secret Service one, costs 750 Caliber, while the similar one we had previously, Gentlemanly Skin, costs 375 Caliber. The difference is that the Secret Service Skin has a suit jacket and a hairstyle. Doesn’t really justify the price.

But still, any update is better than no update, and the Core drop increase will surely benefit everyone.
