Don’t let the belts clog.
Taking your factory to the next level in Arknights Endfield will require you to bypass the default limit of storage space.
By default, you can store a limited number of units (irrespective of item types). At first, this limit shouldn’t be a problem. However, you’ll need to raise the limit to automate your factory fully. Let’s look at how you can expand your base storage space.
How to raise your base storage space in Arknights Endfield
The option to raise your storage capacity requires you clear a fair bit of in-game content. Keep completing the main quest until you unlock the Originium Science Park area. Then, finish the main mission related to Yavon, and have the necessary amount of Valley Stock Bills.

Next, you’ll need to unlock the Depot Node. Depot Node I is the first quest that will eventually unlock. Once you complete the quest, it will unlock Depot Node II.
When you’re at a Depot Node, you can choose to upgrade it with Valley Stock Bills. Once you complete the upgrade, your local depot capacity will increase from 3000 for each unit to 6000. Keep doing these upgrades, and you’ll be able to raise the number of items that you can store at any given moment in your base.

Why should you increase your base depot storage space in Arknights Endfield
Raising the base depot storage space isn’t cheap, and you’ll need to spend a fair amount of Valley Stock Bills. However, doing so allows you to unlock the Pack Goods feature. This feature adds an innovating way to complete deliveries with packed goods at specific locations.

Once you deliver the goods, you can earn Valley Stock Bills. The resource will help you get plenty more stuff in Arknights Endfield, aside from helping with future upgrades. Once you unlock Valley Stock Bills, they will become your primary currency. Hence, earning it sustainably will be immensely helpful, and upgrading your base depot storage space will be a solid way to achieve that.
