“You Chose… Poorly” Helldivers 2 Players In Shock as They Realize the Major Order Is Most Likely Doomed

Oof, unfortunately, we can’t blame J.O.E.L for this one! Well, maybe we could, but in the end, it was the players’ call, and they made a mistake. Two days into the four-day Major Order, it’s becoming obvious that this one will almost certainly fail. Helldivers 2 players doomed the Major Order when they didn’t make a choice, but tried to fulfill both Objectives. Is there any way to still win this one?

Players Accidentally Doomed the Major Order

As you probably know, the current Major Order presented the players with a tough decision. They could either fight on Claorell to save the Deep Mantle Forge Complex, or on the Squid front, to prevent the destruction of Moradesh.

Well, the players might have been feeling cocky because they managed to complete both Objectives in the previous Major Order, as they tried to do that again. Well, that was a terrible decision. And, it shouldn’t even come as a surprise that J.O.E.L would insist on Helldivers’ making a choice, since the events that happened (or didn’t) last week sort of helped Helldivers complete both Objectives.

But, we digress! What’s happening with the current MO? Well, in our opinion, the players should have gone after the Squids, and they sort of did. However, there weren’t enough players, and at the time of writing this article, that option has been removed since there isn’t enough time left for all the defenses needed.

What about Claorell? Well, unfortunately, things aren’t looking all too well for Claorell, either. The defense of this planet is about to fail. After that happens, the only thing left to do is to try to liberate it. The players will have about 47 hours to achieve this, which isn’t a lot.

Helldivers 2 Players Suggest a Strategy That Would Allow Them to Complete the Major Order

Technically speaking, it still isn’t too late. So, Helldivers 2 players are trying to come up with a strategy that would allow them to complete the, honestly, almost doomed Major Order. There is only one strategy, and it will be almost impossible to pull off.

Due_Answer_4230 noted: “Bot defense lost, Illuminate side is lost. We only have one path to victory now: liberate Claorell within 48 hours”. Unfortunately, many players are disheartened already, as the loss of the other option means that Moradesh will be destroyed following the MO.

Helldivers are already mourning the loss of Moradesh, as after Angel’s Venture the community swore not to let that happen again. So, dear Helldiver, get to Claorell, that is the only advice that we can give you right now. We’ll meet you there. For Liberty and Super Earth.
