Something strange is going on around the Fortnite island, and Carina is determined to get to the bottom of it. As you help her unravel the mystery, she’ll eventually task you with helping her confront Vengeance Jones or Heroic Hope about the Dark Voyager.
The island is vast, with loads of characters you can chat to all around it, so tracking down these two NPCs for this quest on your own can be tricky. If you’re not sure where to look for them, here’s how to confront Vengeance Jones or Heroic Hope about the Dark Voyager in Fortnite.
Vengeance Jones location in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 1
Vengeance Jones can be found near the east end of Lethal Labs, which is a main named POI located right near the middle of the island. He hangs out on the balcony of a building overlooking the area.
There’s another NPC fairly close to him, which is Carina, so if you’re locating him based on the text box icon that appears on your minimap, you may end up at her instead. She’s a bit further out, closer to the outskirts of the POI, so look for the icon that’s actually on a building instead.
Heroic Hope location in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 1
You can find Heroic Hope near the northwest end of Classified Canyon. She’s not in the main triangular building in the center of this POI, but instead hands out inside a watchtower overlooking it on a nearby cliff. There are no other characters at this location, so once you land in the general right area, look for the chat box icon on your minimap to pinpoint where she’s standing at the moment.
Confront Vengeance Jones or Heroic Hope about the Dark Voyager in Fortnite
To complete the confront Vengeance Jones or Heroic Hope about the Dark Voyager quest, you need to locate one of the two characters on the island and chat with them. Before you can do this, though, you must complete seven of Carina’s quests to help her uncover the full mystery.
Carina’s quests include quite a few tricky tasks, like emoting near Human Bill and eliminating a henchman. It might take you a bit to get through them all, but doing so is crucial for progressing and keeping up with the main storyline.
