So, many Marvel Rivals showed even more appreciation for the devs when they found out that the Hero progression was now visible on the icons.
You Can Now See Progression on the Icon
As you probably know, this is something that the community has been asking for for a while. Seeing this implemented in the game only further confirmed the players’ theory that the devs were thoroughly reading through social media posts. The recently released trailer for the new mode, Clone Rumble, also confirmed this theory.
Now, this change isn’t necessarily a big one, but it shows just how much the devs care for the players’ experience. Also, the majority of players thoroughly appreciate small details like these.

Marvel Rivals players truly loved that the devs listened to them and added Hero progression. So, they took this opportunity to praise the developers. Many players admitted they weren’t used to developers hearing out the community’s ideas.
One player, legsarebad, noted: “Ask and you shall receive. Turns out all you need is a post with a couple thousand upvotes and your idea will be implemented”. Another player, SummerTechnical1066, added: “I absolutely love this dev team. Coming from a game before this called ESO where the devs never listened to the community and would take ages to make changes, rivals is a breath of fresh air”.
Truth be told, it isn’t common to see this level of appreciation between the developers and the players. There’s usually a huge gap in between them, so it’s wonderful to see that these devs and players are basically creating a game they’d enjoy together. That’s quite promising and heartwarming.
