New Costumes, incoming! This game certainly has a lot of fashionable Heroes, and every new week brings some new skins. Recently, Magik and the Hulk showed their appreciation of punk, while Venom and Cloak & Dagger showed their fancy sides. Well, Marvel Rivals players were thrilled to learn it was time for Loki and Storm to get new Costumes.
New Costumes for Loki and Storm Are Coming
On March 11, the Community Manager of Marvel Rivals posted an announcement on the official Discord. The CM noted: “Embrace Asgardian Power! Ascend to divinity with Storm’s Goddess of Thunder and Loki’s Presidential Attire Costumes! These heroes surpass mere mortals as the might of Asgard courses through them, waiting to be shown on the battlefield! Available: Friday 14 March 2025 at 03:00”.
Of course, this dev shared an image of the Costumes, as well. Truth be told, these Costumes look quite cool. Storm’s Goddess of Thunder is magnificent, while Loki’s presidential attire perfectly captures everything we love to hate about politicians.
Players Notice Who Is Sponsoring Loki
Sure enough, Marvel Rivals players loved the new Costumes for Storm and Loki. Players gladly raved about how they couldn’t wait for these skins to drop. However, one little detail stole the show. The symbol on Loki’s propaganda poster.
One player, zzsc, noted: “In the new announcement for the President Loki and Asgardian Storm skins, the symbol for the Hellfire Gala/Hellfire Trading Company, of which Emma Frost is often a member of, can be seen to the right of President Loki. Could be another indicator that a Hellfire Gala season or Emma Frost as a playable hero is on the way soon”.
As you know, the whole community is looking forward to finding out what Season 2 will be about. Some leaks claimed there would be a Hellfire Gala storyline. Furthermore, eagle-eyed players found some clues in the game. There are hints in one of the Gallery Cards, and also in the Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event.
With every new bit of content added, the devs seem to be hinting at the Hellfire Gala. So, hopefully, the players will get to attend! In the meantime, be sure to complete the current event for some cool gifts and even a new Costume for the Black Widow. Enjoy the game, and see you out there.
