I’ll first rate the best Anime Final Quest weapons, gear, traits, accessories and awakenings across their individual tier lists. Then I’ll give you the best overall build and loadout for clearing Hard and Nightmare. Here’s my complete Anime Final Quest tier list and guide for everything in the game.
Anime Final Quest Weapon & Gear Tier List
I might separate Weapons and Gear into two individual tier lists when there’s more but for now I’ve packed them into one. The best weapons and gear in Anime Final Quest depend on damage, HP, AOE, utility and whether you’re solo or in a team. You can think of S-Tier as the best options for both solo and teams for playing Nightmare with A-Tier being close seconds. B-Tier are situational options based on difficulty, C-Tier are underpowered choices and D-Tier is never use (Currently there are no trash weapons and gear). I’ll explain individual ranking reasons below.
S-Tier Weapons & Gear

 King of Curses Weapon Mythic |
• The highest AOE damage in the entire game • Also the best base HP and M1 damage • Just make sure you group enemies for World Cutting Slashes and Cleave Dance • It’s also good to dodge before Fire Arrows if you’re swarmed • The ultimate domain expansion is a nuke and a must-have for Nightmare grinding solo but I still recommend a team for faster clears • Goes really well with Time Stop to stall for cooldowns or set up AOE damage bursts |
 Time Stop Gear Mythic |
• Time Stop is the best gear in the game for teams • It both gives you time to recharge cooldowns but also sets up AOE damage for you and your group • If you’re in a group of 2 or more people Time Stop is a must so you can stun-lock waves • Coyote Pistol is usually better for solo |
 Coyote Pistol Gear Legendary |
• Coyote Pistol is the best solo gear IMO • It gives you more DPS that’s really fast to pull off • It’s not as awkward to use as Blood Hammer that has a slow start-up • Overall if you’re playing solo bring Coyote Pistol, if you’re in a team bring Time Stop |
A-Tier Weapons & Gear

• The best Legendary weapon in the game • I prefer it over Umbrella since it has faster start-ups and is faster overall • Great damage on the ultimate that competes with Sukuna • One of the best boss-killers in the game |

• Amazing to bring for teams since it has amazing team support and utility • A must-have for Nightmare teams if you’re not bringing Time Stop • Not as good solo once you learn to dodge so A-Tier is perfect for Heal |
 Umbrella Weapon Legendary |
• Even though it’s a bit awkward to set up Umbrella still deals a ton of AOE damage while having invincibility frames • You just have to align groups well for Octa Shredder which stuns enemies for your team’s moves or your Rain Piercer • Thunderbrella is slightly awkward to use due to the running start-up but deals great AOE damage and has i-Frames if you need to dodge moves • Overall a really strong defensive option due to invincibility frames on moves with great AOE clearing damage |
B-Tier Weapons & Gear

• Overall a fast move-set with decent DPS that is outdamaged by A-Tier weapons but is still good • You get some mobility, fast M1s and start-ups to compensate • Ground Slam is a pretty decent ult though • Not an optimal weapon compared to the Legendaries and Mythics but still decent |
 Blood Hammer Gear Epic |
• Blood Hammer is a decent gear option for some extra AOE damage • That said the slow start-up makes it worse than Coyote Pistol • So if you need extra DPS for your Gear slot go Coyote Pistol or otherwise take a utility option like Time Stop or Heal • Blood Hammer is only good if you need extra damage but you can’t get Coyote Pistol |
C-Tier Weapons & Gear

 King Ripper Weapon Rare |
• King Ripper is not an unusable option, it’s just that other weapons deal more M1 and skill damage overall • This makes it the weakest option in the game but you can still have good results on Hard • I even soloed Hard with King Ripper, you just have to play around grouping enemies for the moves and dodging well • That said, unless you really like SJW and find the moveset fun, I would spin for better Weapons so you can have higher DPS |
Anime Final Quest Trait Tier List
The best trait in Anime Final Quest is Accuracy III for raw damage and Fortune for grinding. You can check out more detailed reasons below. If you’re wondering how to farm Runes for Traits, you can get them via AFQ codes, as Dungeon rewards and at the Traits station using Robux.

Increase the amount of gold and EXP you get by +15% |
• The best trait for grinding EXP and gold so you can get your preferred weapons and gear • Once you have your desired loadout (check the best build below) you can swap to Accuracy or Crit for doing Nightmare |
| A-Tier – Critical Chance
Gives you a 5% critical strike chance |
• An alternative to Accuracy for DPS though it’s slightly weaker on average by itself • That said, it stacks with the Agris Sword accessory for a total of 25% crit chance making it really strong |
| B-Tier – Power III
Increases M1 damage by +15% |
• A secondary DPS option in the game for Hard since M1s usually have low base damage but this is A-Tier for Nightmare • Sukuna is the best option for this with Strongest Cape if you want to use it since Sukuna’s weapon has the best M1 base damage |
| C-Tier – Juggernaut
Increases your HP by +50 |
• The weakest trait in the game since even on Nightmare there are no one-shot moves that make Juggernaut a must-have to survive • You’ll get plenty of HP from accessories either way so just go for a DPS trait instead |
Anime Final Quest Accessory Tier List
You can stack all Accessories in Anime Final Quest so there’s no point for a traditional tier list since you can equip them all. That said, I will rank them from best to worst below and list what stats they give you. Note that the Agris Sword also gives you an awakening/active ability on the X key (See Awakenings below on how to get it).
- Agris Sword: Health +75, Critical Strike Chance +20% (Get from completing all Fiji’s Quests)
- Strongest’s Cape: Doubles your M1 damage (Interchangeable with Divine Wheel – Get from Crafting)
- Divine Wheel: Health +75, Skill damage x1.6 (Interchangeable with Strong Cape – Get from Crafting)
- Royal Cape: Health +50 (Get from V.I.P gamepass in the Shop)
- Scraf: Health +25 (Get from Crafting)
Anime Final Quest Awakening Tier List
Currently there is only one Awakening in Anime Final Quest which is the Agris Sword you get from completing all Fiji’s Quest at the HUB. Once you equip it, it uses the X key to activate. There will be more Awakenings in future updates and I’ll make a tier list for them too once they’re added. All of them will use the X key so you can have only one per dungeon run.
Best Build in Anime Final Quest
Here is the strongest loadout in Anime Final Quest that you can use for any game mode and difficulty with great success:
- Weapon: King of Curses
- Trait: Accuracy III (Secondary choices include Power 3 for Nightmare with Strongest’s Cape)
- Gear: Time Stop (Or Coyote Pistol for solo)
- Awakening/Ultimate: Agris Sword
- Accessories: Craft and equip all of them
