The devs recently presented the roadmap for the first free update coming on April 4. Now, this update will be chock-full of new content, including several new Monsters, the Grand Hub, and more. The devs even announced a collab that would arrive at the end of May. However, the end of May is quite far, and there are many more urgent things that require the players’ immediate focus, starting with the new (and returning) Monsters. One of them is the first final boss – Zoh Shia. Thankfully, some Monster Hunter Wilds have some tips that will help you defeat Zoh Shia.
Zoh Shia Returns to Monster Hunter Wilds!
Ah, Zoh Shia! Many players will struggle against this Monster, mostly because they only got to face it once. So, if you managed to defeat it just because you got lucky, you’ll have a tough time doing it again.
As you know, the devs gave some more details about when and where you can fight Zoh Shia again in the update Showcase. They noted: “The Zoh Shia quest will be accessible after completing a mission that unlocks at Hunter Rank 50 and can be selected in the Environment Overview. Zoh Shia will also appear during the Wyvern’s Wakening in the Ruins of Wyveria and can be made into a quest”.
Players Offer Their Best Tips for Surviving This Monster
We all need some help sometimes, right? Even when we don’t, it’s always useful to hear out other players’ strategies, as they might help out in other situations. So, what do the players advise one should do when Zoh Shia summons all those Wylk Crystals? Now, many players panic, and well, die, but some have found cool solutions.
One player, Magnakilro, noted: ” When he does his big Nova where he summons Wylk Crystals EVERYWHERE then blows up the room…..to avoid this move the intended way… you simply shoot the Crystals with Elemental Slinger ammo…just like with the Wylk the guardian Monsters summon, Elemental Slinger shots will blow the Crystals up. Doing so will open safe zones in the explosion. You can blow up any crystals he summons this way, and if he is close enough, the explosions will hurt him”.
S1mpinAintEZ, stated: “You can also just get on your Seikret and go to the far edge of the arena, it’s not like Jin Dahaad where it hits the entire field”. Another player, draco551, added: “Sometimes I can hide behind the boss as well, free uptime on the tail, it looked like a 300+ deg aoe”.
