One Piece has now been ongoing for almost three full decades, and the story is currently in the Final Saga. But even now, over 28 years later, Oda has somehow still managed to keep fans on the edge of their seats, full of excitement, and coming back every single week for more. The current ongoing arc in the One Piece manga is the Elbaf arc, and it’s done incredibly well at raising the excitement to a whole new level, especially as it covers one of the most anticipated parts of the story — The God Valley Incident.
While most fans have already read the God Valley flashback through weekly releases, soon, they will be able to own the new volume which covers this tragic and chaotic event. One Piece volume 114, titled The God Valley Incident, officially has a confirmed release date, and fans have also received the brand new cover from Oda, featuring the beloved Rocks Pirates.
One Piece Volume 114 Cover Is Officially Revealed
The Cover For The God Valley Incident Showcases the Rocks Pirates
Earlier today, the newest volume cover for One Piece was revealed. Indeed, One Piece volume 114 has just revealed its cover, and as is usually the case, the sketch and coloring process by Oda has also been unveiled by the official One Piece account. Needless to say, this new cover has been received very well by the fans, and that is specifically because it features the Rocks Pirates, as expected. Rocks D. Xebec and his crew being on the cover was a given, as One Piece Volume 114 goes over their creation and destruction, as well as the events of God Valley, where they were a center point.
Some fans expected to see the likes of Garp, Roger, or even Imu on this cover as well, but these three have been omitted to highlight Rocks and his crew. Rocks D. Xebec, of course, is the focal point of this cover. But, with him, every single Rocks pirate is also featured. One Piece Volume 114 cover gives all readers their first fully canon color scheme of the Rocks Pirates — something that was heavily anticipated over the years.
It’s also interesting to point out that One Piece Volume 114 features one of only six covers where Monkey D. Luffy, One Piece’s protagonist, isn’t featured in any way. This cover is definitely unique in that sense, as it is uncommon for Oda to take the focus away from Luffy.
One Piece Volume 114 Will Be Released On March 4, 2026
With the cover of One Piece Volume 114 being revealed, an official release date of the volume was also announced at the same time. The release of the next One Piece Volume is edging closer. One Piece Volume 114 is coming out on March 4, 2026. However, it must be noted that this release date is only for the Japanese version.

For the English version of One Piece Volume 114, published by VIZ Media, there is yet to be a confirmed release date. VIZ Media is still far behind when it comes to volume releases for One Piece, and as such, this new volume isn’t going to come out anytime soon in English. For context, the English version of One Piece has yet to even release volume 111. As such, fans reading the English version could still be waiting a long time to get their hands on One Piece volume 114.

One Piece Volume 114 Features The God Valley Incident
One of the biggest reasons for the incredible excitement surrounding One Piece Volume 114 is the God Valley Incident, which was showcased in its entirety here. In fact, many would consider the God Valley Incident to be one of the best flashbacks in the story, competing with the likes of the Oden flashback.
The God Valley Incident was heated, offering some intense clashes between Imu, the Rocks Pirates, as well as Garp and Roger. Fans also got to see the full story of Rocks D. Xebec, including how he started as a pirate, and how he met his end in God Valley. This flashback was also major for the likes of Shanks and Blackbeard, whose pasts were finally exposed to all readers.
