Season 2 of the game is just around the corner. The whole Season will be centered around the Hellfire Gala. Of course, two new Heroes will be added in Season 2 – Emma Frost and Ultron. However, the moment the devs confirmed the news, players wanted to know who’s next in line to become a Hero. Well, according to some leaks, Professor X is the main contender to join Marvel Rivals.
Leaks Claim Professor X Could Be on His Way
As you know, the rumors claim that Professor X has been in the works for a while now. Some players even claimed the Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure map would reveal the Damaged Cerebro. Well, it didn’t, it was the twerking Venom emote.
However, there still might be a chance that this character will arrive, and soon. XOXLeak, one of the most prolific Marvel Rivals leaks accounts, shared some exciting news about Professor X.
They noted: “New Hero: Professor X. With Season 2, Professor X got updated in a way that shows a pattern, meaning he’s likely the next entry. He’s listed as a Support, and here are his Early WIP Abilities again (CN translated): ‘X-Men Collection’, ‘Potential stimulation’, and ‘Mind projection’. While this isn’t 100% confirmable, it’s only Professor X who got these changes, which makes him more likely”.
The leaks also included a lovely fan-made depiction of what Professor X could look like once he joins the other Heroes. We have to admit – this design would be quite cool to see.
Marvel Rivals players were quite excited by these leaks! It’s sometimes fun to know what’s coming, as you can look forward to it. Well, this was exactly the case with these leaks.
Nicholas Ramjohn noted: “He is most likely Season 3, with this much work done on him. And they kinda hinted a bit of him on the map, plus it would make sense that he will join the fight against Ultron”.
BrandoDio61 stated: “Yes!!!!!! We need a mutant Strategist so we can finally have a complete X-Men team in MR. I wonder which other mutants can be a Strategist”.
