Nvidia’s next wave of budget GPUs is on the horizon, with the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 drawing increasing attention. While official announcements are still pending, recent leaks and industry chatter suggest that both cards could launch very soon, starting with the RTX 5060 Ti. These new additions will complete the RTX 50-series lineup.
RTX 5060 Ti & 5060 Release Date Rumors
According to HKEPC, Nvidia is expected to launch the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti on April 16, with availability beginning at 9 PM HKT. For Western markets, that translates to 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM BST. Both 8GB and 16GB models are said to be released simultaneously.
Board partners will reportedly be able to publish official product pages a day earlier, on April 15 at 9 PM HKT, while media outlets will be allowed to publish reviews once the retail embargo lifts alongside the global release.
The standard RTX 5060 is expected to follow sometime in May 2025, though Nvidia has not provided a definitive date. AIC partners are also rumored to begin promoting RTX 5060 SKUs from April 15, indicating that an official launch might not be far behind.
Where to Buy the RTX 5060 Ti (Expected Retailers)
As of now, there are no listings for the RTX 5060 series on major retail sites, but partner pages are expected to go live around April 15. We expect your usual assortment of retailers like Amazon, Newegg, Ebuyer, Scan, and Overclockers will likely carry the full lineup upon release, among many others.

Early reports hint that the RTX 5060 Ti may outperform the RTX 4070 at 4K based on a leaked FurMark benchmark, putting it just behind the RTX 3080 Ti in terms of raw performance. However, we’ll need to wait for official benchmarks to verify these claims.
