It’s been a while since data miners discovered some hints about what’s to come. The recent additions have revamped the bot front, and Helldivers are once again excited to see what the future holds. During one of the previous MOs, the players suggested that J.O.E.L was acting suspiciously and making plans for Cyberstan. As it turns out, these Helldivers 2 players might have been right, as a data miner just revealed that New Cyberstan was in the game files.
Helldivers Might Get to Fight on New Cyberstan in the Future
One of the most prolific Helldivers 2 data miners and leakers, IronS1ghts, shared their findings on their account on X. This data miner noted: “(Leak) The Automaton Homeworld”. They also posted a couple of pictures and explanations.

The OP added: “The banner is likely a placeholder for the actual New Cyberstan biome. It is said to be some sort of forest. Some of the values make the planet look like Super Earth, but this is also a placeholder”. They also explained that Cyberstan was listed as Automaton Homeworld in the API at the moment.

Now, whatever the developers are planning, it seems that New Cyberstan will just be terraformed Cyberstan. However, don’t get your hopes up just yet, as New Cyberstan is nowhere near ready, so it will take a while. IronS1ghts noted: “Terraformed Cyberstan does not have a proper texture yet, so it displays like this in-game”.

Expectations for Terraformed Cyberstan Are High
Well, whatever and whenever happens with New Cyberstan, Helldivers 2 players are more than ready for a challenge. They gladly shared their expectations and discussed possible scenarios.
Dalran noted: “So what kind of biome will this planet have do you think, will they go for full mechanical or something more like a Moon Biome where there is not much in the way of organic life? Also, but disappointing the name is just “New” Cyberstan when they could have gone for like 0-2″.
Another player, Metroz, suggested: “They terraformed it so it looks like Malevelon Creek (psychological warfare)”. Ah, the Creek veterans would actually be overjoyed if the devs did that! Anything for Managed Democracy!
Well, Super Citizen, came up with a solution before the problem even presented itself. This player stated: “I’m all against destroying planets, As someone who’s very fascinated by space, watching Angel Venture and Moradesh get destroyed hurt me (even though they’re fictional). But I would so happily press the big red button to turn this planet to ashes”.
Only time will tell what’s going on with (New) Cyberstan, but one thing is for sure – it will be a hell of a battle. In the meantime, let’s not forget about our current problems, the Major Order will most likely fail, unless we all unite. We’ll be diving on the bug front, will you join us? For Liberty and Super Earth.
