The last one was canceled due to unfortunate circumstances, but now a new AMA session with The First Descendant has been scheduled.
Nexon’s TFD livestreams proved to be a real hit with the fans. It is where they showcase upcoming changes, improvements, and new content, all hosted by TFD developers (and an always-charming Korean-to-English translator). And usually, they leave time near the end to answer the fans’ questions. Remember that we had a live Q&A channel on the official TFD Discord, which was great, but had to be closed.
The First Descendant Devs Announce the Date and Time of a New AMA Session
Near the end of the year, Nexon announced an AMA session (Q&A with extra steps), for December 30, 2024. Unfortunately, due to a tragic incident in South Korea and a government-proposed mourning period, Nexon decided to cancel the livestream, to honor the victims of the tragedy. On January 9, the devs held the first livestream of 2025, showing all the features coming to the game with January 16 Update. With the Update done (even after some complications), we got an announcement that a new AMA session is on the way.
So, prepare your questions, as the AMA session has been scheduled for:
- January 20, 6pm PST
- January 20, 9pm EST
- January 21, 2am GMT
- January 21, 3am CET
- January 21, 11am KST
- January 21, 1pm AET
It will be held on TFD’s official Discord channel.
An awful lot of players report frequent crashes on PS5, like “PS5 is still crashing…are you guys not going to acknowledge this?” by applepkmn11, and “So is this game now an exclusive since PlayStation 5 isn’t fixed?” by Wayne87Brown. This really is a critical issue as a huge part of the player base is playing TFD via PlayStation 5, so hopefully, Nexon will address this question. We will find out more in just a couple of days.
