The story of Marvel Rivals #1 revolves around Peni Parker and Spider-Man. A time rift has opened in Tokyo 2099, which damages the Web of Life and Destiny. Both of them want to close it, but have different ideas on how to do so, so they ended up leading rival (get it? rivals?) teams, both bent on saving the world, but with different approaches.
We are sure that Marvel fans will have a fun ride with this one, but there is more to it than just a comic book story. As a way to celebrate the release of the first comic, each copy will also offer a free spray for Jeff the Land Shark, called “Unlimited Appetite”.
