One of the most anticipated games of today is the sequel to Death Stranding. Hideo Kojima, the game’s designer and number one man, has just posted a bit of a teaser, alluding that a new trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach should be coming soon.
Whether you are a fan of the game or not, every gamer today has at least heard of Death Stranding and its upcoming sequel. Designed by Hideo Kojima, one of the most popular game designers of today, it even featured a couple of Hollywood celebrities, with Norman Reedus (of The Walking Dead fame), Lea Sedoux, and Mads Mikkelsen and more, serving as “models” and voice actors for the game’s main and side characters. The sequel will follow the same route, with even more celebrities, like Elle Fanning (The Great, Maleficent) and Shioli Kutsuna (Deadpool 2, Deadpool & Wolverine) joining. We had a couple of trailers a while back but the fans want more. And it looks like more is on the way.
Hideo Kojima Teases a New Trailer for Death Stranding 2, Allegedly Coming Soon
On February 20, Hideo Kojima posted an image of him working, with the caption saying “Trailer editing and game building”. He’s known to tease his fanbase with cryptic messages such as these, and the fans are adamant that means that a new trailer is on the way. And there is an announcement that further solidifies this.
It was revealed that Kojima will host a special panel on SXSW, in collaboration with PlayStation. “KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS will also host an exclusive pop-up shop at SXSW which will feature the latest DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH merchandise, as well as exclusive items that will be available only at SXSW. More information on the pop-up shop will be confirmed shortly. Stay tuned for more updates!”
The panel will be held on March 9, so it is quite possible that the new trailer will be revealed there.
