“A Step in the Right Directon” The Second Free Title Update Dropped and Monster Hunter Wilds Players Are Pleasantly Surprised

It’s here! The new update dropped on June 30. The players have been suspicious of the Second Free Title Update, but it seems that the devs managed to truly improve Monster Hunter Wilds. So, should we expect to see some less harsh reviews soon?

Devs Announce the Second Free Title Update Was Live

The devs announced that the Title Update dropped on the official Monster Hunter X profile. They noted: “A legendary Leviathan & the Thousand Blade Wyvern return in #MHWilds Free Title Update 2, out now! Lagiacrus. Seregios. Layered Weapons. Coming soon, the Festival of Accord: Flamefete seasonal event, plus Arch-tempered Uth Duna & Fender Special Collaboration Event Quests”.

These details were previously shared by Capcom. However, the Title Update had to go live before the players could decide if it actually fixed the various underlying issues or just put a fresh coat of paint over them. Luckily, it was the former.

Monster Hunter Wilds Players Give a Seal of Approval to the Update

Yup! It seems that the devs managed to deliver! Players are seemingly quite pleased with the Second Free Title Update of Monster Hunter Wilds. Lagi and Seregios are great, but what truly intrigued the community was optimization.

Maleficent_Mud_7819 stated: “TU2 has made this game playable for me. It’s honestly shocking. Idk what exactly they changed, but my FPS stability has increased significantly, and I am no longer getting visual distortions when using frame generation. When I don’t use frame generation, I’m getting 30fps consistently. I didn’t even change anything, but the visual fidelity is also improved. Lagiacrus looked so pretty”.

Another player added: “The towns got MUCH better for me this update. I can actually get a stable 60 fps when running around Kunafa Village for once. Places like the Scarlet Forest and the Ruins of Wyveria haven’t changed much in terms of fps, but I’ve noticed less stutters and more consistent frametimes, so I guess the texture streaming really was improved”.

It seems that the devs truly listened to the players’ complaints, which is always a great sign in the gaming world. So, if you haven’t yet, go ahead and check the Second Title Update! Also, if you haven’t bought the game yet, and now you’re thinking about it, it’s on sale! Enjoy and happy hunting.
