“Adam Warlock Mains Are Eating Good” The Marvel Rivals Community Is Head Over Heels for the Latest Balance Changes

It’s time for a new patch! As always, quite a lot is going on, and it’s usually quite hard to single out a change that could influence the gameplay the most. Well, this time, that isn’t the case. Marvel Rivals players are still in awe over the Adam Warlock buff revealed in the latest Balance Changes.

Adam Warlock Buff Stands Out in the Latest Patch

So, how did the devs balance the Heroes in the new patch? Well, they mostly made minor tweaks that could turn out to have quite a big impact. Some Vanguards (Captain America, Doctor Strange, and Groot) received minor nerfs.

When it comes to Duelists, Spider-Man‘s hit detection range was tightened. However, Bucky received “a combat upgrade”. Many players joked they knew he wouldn’t stay nerfed for long.

As for the Strategists, Mantis, Cloak & Dagger, and Luna Snow received light buffs, which could lead to an increase in the popularity of this role. However, the clear winner of this patch is Adam Warlock.

The devs stated: “We’re enhancing Avatar of Life’s sustainability to keep him fighting for cosmic justice. Add a new effect to Quantum Magic: When a critical hit lands on an enemy, reduce the cooldown time of Avatar Life Stream by 1s”.

Marvel Rivals Players Love the Balance Changes and Hope for More Buffed Strategists

Obviously, Adam mains are thrilled with the Marvel Rivals devs’ latest balance changes. However, many other Strategists hope this could be quite an important precedent for this entire class of Heroes. As you know, Strategists are often undervalued, and there’s usually just one per team, while the majority of players prefer to main a Duelist. Could buffing Strategists be a way to solve this giant issue? We hope so, and so does the community.

Naturally, the players had a lot to say about the buff. One player, Moosje, noted: “Might have gone from meh to best strategist in the game in the right hands”. __Rem added: “I love these changes as Adam is my favourite strat and this might genuinely make him actually viable in 2 supps even without the teamup to add value to his pick”.

This is one small step toward making Strategists more appealing to players. Unfortunately, many players were disappointed that Mantis didn’t get her base health back to 275, but hey, there’s always a next patch. So, in the meantime, enjoy the new mode, have fun, and see you out there.
