All Encore and Kell’s Fall Data Pad locations in Destiny 2 Edge of Fate (Pinnacle Data Pad Retrieval Part 1)

The Edge of Fate continued Destiny 2‘s seasonal challenges, and players who want to make the most out of them must hunt data pads in Encore, Kell’s Fall, and other activities for the Data Pad Retrieval Part One quests.

One of the Data Pad Retrieval quests is dedicated to Pinnacle Portal activities, which amounts to Exotic missions so far. Encore and Kell’s Fall have two data pads each, and finding all of them is required for the Pinnacle Data Pad Retrieval Part One quest. We’ve compiled a list of them here.

How to complete the Pinnacle Data Pad Retrieval Part 1 seasonal challenge in Destiny 2

If you’ve already found all the Solo Ops data pads, you might want to move on to Exotic missions, starting with Kell’s Fall (Revenant) and Encore (Echoes). Although each of those activities has a plethora of secrets to unlock, most data pads are located in plain view, with the exception of the first one for Encore.

All Kell’s Fall Data Pad Locations in Destiny 2

Kell’s Fall has two data pads, and they’re both at the tail end of the mission. The first one appears after defeating the Mindbender and before the Trickster resurfaces. Once you’ve dispatched Hiraks, you’ll find a dark hallway with an elevator. Look behind the beam of light to spot this data pad on the back of the room.

The second Kell’s Fall data pad is located just after defeating the Trickster, right in front of the entrance to Fikrul’s throne room. Before planting your rally banner and facing the Fanatic, look by the wall on the right to find this collectible.

All Encore Data Pad Locations in Destiny 2

The Conductor isn’t the only nightmare from Echoes returning in Edge of Fate. The Encore Exotic mission has moved to the Portal, and it brings two more data pads to find if you want to complete the Pinnacle Data Pad Retrieval Part One challenge. The two locations are bookends: one is at the starting area with the Vex lake, and the other is just before the boss room, inside Maya’s lab.

The first data pad is located in the same area as the Whisper of the Worm Easter egg in Encore, which opened a secret area in the wall and kickstarted a timed version of the mission. Head to the far end of the mission’s first area until you find a place to drop down onto some grassy platforms. Keep going downward until you see a small cave on the wall to your left (if you’re facing the landing zone). Go through it and the first data pad will be on the ground by a waterfall.

The final data pad spawns inside Maya’s lab, at the end of the mission. Once you stumble upon the degaussed Exomind of Chioma Esi, go through the door at the end of the laboratory and look for this data pad on top of a rock.
