Lockpicks are found in Resident Evil Requiem as you explore the Care Center. There are five lockpicks in the whole game and the only chance you have to use them is while playing as Grace in the first major area.
In the corridors and abandoned rooms of the main building, there are locked drawers and lockers which you can open using these lockpicks. However, finding them is only part of the challenge. With a lockpick in your inventory, you must backtrack to one of the locked drawers to collect the item, and, as you might wonder, one is usually fairly far from the other.
The time spent looking for these special items is worthwhile, as this is the only way to obtain the rarest crafting material in the game. If you want to find them, here are all the lockpick locations in Resident Evil Requiem and the locations of each locked drawer and locker.
All lockpick locations in Resident Evil Requiem
Lockpicks in Resident Evil Requiem are only found in the Care Center area, being one in the East Wing, two in the West Wing, and two in the Basement. You can open any of the locked drawers or lockers with a lockpick, but it is consumed when used.
Lockpick #1 — Lead Researcher’s Office (East Wing)
As you progress in the campaign, you’ll reach the Lead Researcher’s Office in the East Wing. On top of a small cabinet on the east side of the room, you find your first lockpick in the game.
Lockpick #2 — Custodian’s Office (West Wing)
You can find the second lockpick inside a locker in the Custodian’s Office in the West Wing. To access this room, you’ll need to use your Ievel 1 wristband to unlock the door south of the Kitchen.
Lockpick #3 — Office (West Wing)
The third lockpick in the Care Center area is in the Office, which is on the second floor of the West Wing. To reach the Office for the first time, you must climb the stairs in front of the Custodian’s Office. The lockpick is on the desk in the north part of the room.
Lockpick #4 — Boiler Room (Basement)
This lockpick is located on the east side of the Boiler room. You must enter the room from the broken fence on the north side of the room. Otherwise, the water will have an electric current and damage Grace when you try to pick up the item. To get inside, head to the northeastern portion of the Basement and insert the joint plug to open the northern path to the Boiler Room.
Lockpick #5 — Basement
You find the fifth lockpick inside a tunnel that connects the Workshop to the Inspection area. To access it from the Workshop, you need the Square Socket Wrench to open the vent passage. Alternatively, you can insert the joint plug into the outlet on the west side of the Furnace and crawl into the open vent beside the smaller room.

There are three locked drawers and two lockers that can be opened with lockpicks, and each one of them contains a rare metal. You need this material to craft Requiem ammo as Grace, after learning the recipe by analyzing the Blood Specimen (Converged). If you missed the three drawers before going to the Basement, don’t worry. You eventually come back to the upper floors and have the chance to open them before progressing in the campaign.

Location #1 — East Wing Lobby (East Wing)
Once you gain access to the East Wing and enter the East Wing Lobby, you will find a locked drawer in the cabinet on the south side of the room.
Location #2 — Hallway south of Restroom (West Wing)
The second locked drawer is at the end of the corridor on the first floor of the northwest side of the West Wing. It is south of the Restroom near the Kitchen, beside a couple of sofas.
Location #3 — Outside the Chairman’s Office (West Wing)
You find the third locked drawer outside the Chairman’s Office, beside the door, on the second floor of the West Wing.
Location #4 — Bunkroom (Basement)
With a joint plug, open the Bunkroom near the Security Room. On the east side, there are some blue lockers. You can lockpick the leftmost locker.
Location #5 — Basement
After obtaining the Forklift Key, you can access the Inspection room. On the northeast side of this room, to the left of where you enter it, there are two blue lockers. Open the left locker with a lockpick.
