All Modifiers in MIO: Memories in Orbit

Modifiers are like upgrades in MIO: Memories in Orbit. They grant various effects and abilities to little Mio, like displaying enemy health bars or increasing her defenses. They’re definitely worth equipping, but before you can do so, you have to find them first.

Some Modifiers can be bought, but most of them must be found. They’re scattered around the ship, located in hard-to-reach places or tucked inside chests. You can only have a certain number of them equipped at a time based on the amount of Modifier slots you have.

How to equip Modifiers

As mentioned earlier, only a limited number of Modifiers can be equipped at a time in MIO: Memories in Orbit. This number is entirely dependent on how many Modifier slots you have open, and how many slots a Modifier costs. Resources Shortage, for example, costs 20 slots, so if you only have 15 available, you’ll need to first unequip another Modifier. You start with a very small amount of slots to begin with, but you can increase that amount by purchasing Modifier Extensions from Mel at Dr. Halyn’s Restoration Bench for one Old Core and 200 Nacre.

To equip Modifiers, you’ll have to head to one of the many Overseers around the map. Select the “Modifier Centre” option, and you’ll be taken to the screen where you can see all your Modifiers and how many slots you have available.

The number of slots you have open are shown to the left of the screen, under “Allocation Matrix.” Available ones are represented by the dark boxes with light gold outlines. Any gold box means those slots have been filled by an equipped Modifier. Gray slots, as you might have already guessed, mean those are currently unavailable and cannot be used to equip more mods.
