Pokemon Legends: Z-A isn’t the next mainline Pokemon game with an entirely new region and Pokedex to fill up, but it is a new core Pokemon game that will bring players back to the Kalos region introduced in X and Y on the 3DS. This time around, though, you’ll get to explore an expanded Lumiose City, with tons of Wild Zones to catch all sorts of Pokemon and compete in the A-Z Royale to become the top trainer.
If you plan on preordering Pokemon Legends: Z-A (either digitally or physically), there may be some exclusive bonuses for you to claim. Here are all the preorder bonuses we know about so far for the game!
All Preorder Bonuses for Pokemon Legends Z-A
Official Preorder
If you decide to preorder Pokemon Legends: Z-A on the eShop or through a physical retailer, you can claim two rewards from The Pokemon Company itself:
- The first bonus is a Ralts holding a Gardevoirite Stone (You will need to use the Mystery Gift feature to claim it by February 28, 2026).
- The second bonus is 100 Poke Balls (digital-only), which will be available until March 10, 2026.
GameStop Preorder for Pokemon Legends Z-A
GameStop is offering two preorder bonuses for Pokemon Legends: Z-A. The first one is a tote bag available only to those who show up physically for the midnight release after preordering.
The second preorder bonus is a Trench Coat and Pants Set for your in-game character. The code for the cosmetic items will be emailed to you two business days after your order ships. You can also get the item in-store if you’re picking up your game from your local shop.
Best Buy Preorder Bonus for Pokemon Legends Z-A
Unfortunately, the Pokemon gamer mat that Best Buy was offering for preorders has sold out (as of the time of writing). From what we can tell, you can get a $10 bonus reward for buying Pokemon Legends: Z-A if you’re a ‘My Best Buy Plus/Total’ member.
Walmart Preorder Bonus for Pokemon Legends: Z-A
For preordering at Walmart, you can get one of the three exclusive pins for the starter Pokemon in Legends: Z-A, which are Totodile, Tepig, and Chikorita (from right to left).
Target Preorder Bonus for Pokemon Legends: Z-A
If you check out with Target, you may have a chance to snag an exclusive decal set. The weekly ad shows a decal for Mega Charizard X, but we’re not sure if that’s the only Pokemon featured.
