All status effect boosts and how to get them in Monster Hunter Wilds

In Monster Hunter Wilds, status effect boosts work in both positive and negative fashion, and you’ll need to master them to make the most of the benefits (and negate the ill effects).

Status effects are available in two forms: Boosts and Ailments. While the former benefits your character, the latter can be both positive and negative. On the other hand, Ailments have adverse effects, but you can also use them on your enemy.
