All Veiled Sea Water Points Locations in Sword of the Sea

Sword of the Sea features breathtaking vistas that have been deprived of life due to the absence of water. The Veiled Sea is the first location players will visit in the game, and they must find all the Water Points here. Interacting with all the Water Points will help restore water in the region and bring back all the marine life. Successfully activating all the water points will also reward players with the “Cleanse the Veiled Sea” achievement in Sword of the Sea.

All Veiled Sea Water Point Locations in Sword of the Sea

There are 10 Water Points in total that players can activate in the Veiled Sea area of Sword of the Sea. While some can be found naturally as you move along the area, others are located off the beaten path, which can be easily missable and deprive you of the completion trophy. Here’s where to find all the Water Point locations.

Water Point Location 1

Once you get control of your character, simply progress through the opening section of the level until the game’s title screen pops up. Now you’d have entered an open area, with the first Water Point right in the middle of it.

To reach it, you’ll need to head up the sandy mass from either of the sides. Once you get to the Water Point, simply interact with it to restore water to the area.

After your interaction with the merchant, you’ll enter an even larger area with several points of interest. First, head left from the entrance and go behind the large rocks to spot a large rock pillar surrounded by lanterns at its base.

Activate all the lanterns to spawn multiple jellyfish around the pillar. Use the jellyfish to reach the top of the pillar and interact with the second Water Point in the Veiled Sea.

After you’re done with the second Water Point, descend the pillar and head through the newly opened watery path on the right. Keep following the rock wall until you spot a sand waterfall with a cave opening. Go inside, and you’ll be able to interact with the third Water Point.

Water Point Location 4

Exit the cave and surf downhill, following the watery slope, and jump off the ramp. To the left, you’ll spot some lanterns scattered on the ground that you can activate to lower the sand and reveal an entrance to a temple.

Once you get inside, activate another group of lanterns inside to lower the sand and reveal the fourth Water Point on a higher platform. To reach it, you’ll need to take a cavern to the left and loop back up to the higher platform, where you’ll be able to activate the Water Point.

Once the fourth Water Point is activated, a new pathway will open up to the right side of the mural. Keep following the path as you reach a section by bouncing off the jellyfish. After arriving in the open area, you’ll find the fifth Water Point of Veiled Sea.

Water Point Location 6

Drop back into the main open area and keep following the rocky pathway through the area with the large columns. After passing by a few ramps, you’ll spot a ramp at the end that leads to a higher section of the map.

Once you reach the area, activate the lanterns to open up the door to the castle above, which you can reach using the platforms and jellyfish. Once you enter the castle, keep following the hallways and activate the group of lanterns in the center. This will summon a horde of jellyfish, which will let you reach the higher levels of the castle and activate the sixth Water Point.

Once you’re done, ride the chains of the castle back to the lower portion of the map.

As you’re riding the chains, you’ll notice a rock formation to the right with some lanterns scattered inside it. Dismount the chains and activate the lanterns to restore the water in the area, and reveal a large skeleton of an animal.

From the seventh Water Point, keep heading in the direction of the chains coming out of the golden door’s right side (while you’re facing it). Once you reach the end, there will be an eighth Water Point right under a green door that you can activate.

Water Point Location 9

Use the kelp to float up in the air and enter the green door that will open after activating the eighth Water Point into a new section of the map. At the end, you’ll interact with the ninth Water Point to traverse the blocked path up ahead.

Water Point Location 10

Right as you come out of the little cavern area, you’ll find a blue button on some tiles that you can activate to unearth a large building. Head inside the build, and you’ll spot the final Water Point in Veiled Sea, locked behind a gate.

To open up the gate, you’ll need to find two golden lanterns. The first one is on the roof of the building in the open, right above the blue half pipe. For the second one, you’ll need to jump into the upper section of the tower through a jump pad on the right and activate the golden lantern within.

Once both lanterns are activated, the gate will be lifted, and you’ll be able to interact with the final Water Point in Veiled Sea. Now all you need to do is enter the previously visited Golden Gate and progress to the next chapter in Sword of the Sea. This is the point where you’ll unlock the “Cleanse the Veiled Sea” achievement.
