Helldivers are almost there! The Major Order is nearly done, and all that is left to do is to liberate one planet. However, it isn’t any old planet, it’s Wezen. While fire tornado lovers are squealing with joy, the rest of the Helldivers 2 community is kinda annoyed that J.O.E.L sent them to a fire planet when they’ve already fought on one for last week’s MO.
What’s Going on With the MO in Helldivers 2?
We were pleasantly surprised when we started up the game and saw how well the players were doing. As you know, the current Major Order gave players a choice between the bot front and the bug front.
If the players were to liberate 3 planets (including Wezen) on the bot front, they would receive the Exosuit Support Bay on the DSS. Similarly, if they liberated 3 planets on the bug front (Trandor was the main target), they would get the Expanded Convocation Bay on the DSS.
The problem with MOs such as this one is that the players have trouble picking one option and sticking with it. The community usually tries to complete both options and ends up empty-handed. Well, not this time!
The players prioritized the bot front from the very start. They’ve already liberated two planets (Ustotu and Varylia 5). The third and final planet, Wezen, remains. However, according to some predictions, the players should liberate it in the next 24 hours. Probably even faster, since many Helldivers are yet to join this liberation effort. For reference, at the time of writing this article, the timer on the MO runs out in around 47 hours.

Players Aren’t Huge Fans of Fighting on a Fire Planet
Many Helldivers 2 players reported being bummed out when they saw they had to liberate a fire planet to complete the MO. Truth be told, we enjoy fire tornadoes, so we can’t truly relate. But, it seems that the players are mostly annoyed to be fighting on a fire planet two weeks in a row. Yes, we’re talking about Popli.
For now, things are running smoothly, but the number of players complaining about this slowly rises. Some players are even calling the community to revert to the bug front. One player, sand, noted: “DO NOT DIVE WEZEN! IT IS A FIRE TORNADO PLANET! SO USELESS”.
What is the problem with fire planets? Well, first of all, the visibility is quite low. The mines blend in quite well, so they can be unnoticeable. Also, yeah, the fire tornadoes. Nehemv4 added: “On fire tornado planets, I think there are now invisible fire trails/tornadoes because I keep dying from getting set on fire by literally nothing, and diving doesn’t put out the fire”.
We admit, planets like these are quite, um, challenging. But, that’s kind of a point. We are sure that there are plenty of players who avoid these planets at all costs, but if you haven’t, give them a try. We can dive together, let’s meet on Wezen. For Liberty and Super Earth.
