ARC Raiders Extraction Camper Gets Instant Karma

While many people seem to be enjoying their time with the massively popular shooter Arc Raiders, some players are running into enemies who have made camping at the extraction site part of their recipe for success. This isn’t a particularly uncommon occurrence in titles like Arc Raiders, but one gamer managed to share a humorous clip that shows a camper being hit by karma in short order.

Due to the game’s immediate popularity, some players initially experienced server issues in Arc Raiders shortly after the game’s launch. In an effort to correct the problem, Embark Studios quickly released a hotfix addressing many of the issues people were having. While a lot of fans were happy to simply see the servers stabilize, Embark Studios went one step further and gave 500 Raider Tokens to any player who logged in on Sunday, November 2. Since then, things seem to have leveled out, as fans have been regularly uploading humorous clips of their experiences while playing the game.

In a recent post on Reddit, getaloaf, who appeared to be playing Arc Raiders solo, shared one such clip of themselves being taken down by another player who had been camping at the extraction site. Shortly after being knocked to the ground, getaloaf saw the enemy player set upon by some of the world’s NPC enemies. The camper was unable to adequately protect themselves and ended up falling to the floor, causing them to crawl around. One can then see getaloaf rise to their feet at a computer, initiating the extraction sequence. As the camper desperately tried to crawl back into the extraction zone, the doors slowly rose up to deny them entry and prevent them from extracting after their diabolical actions.

Despite the game’s PvP element, many players have also shared their pleasant experiences in Arc Raiders. In fact, it has been fairly common to see clips of folks coming together, emoting with one another, and working in jolly cooperation as they take the fight to the machines. However, there’s no way to truly know what experience players will have or who they’ll encounter as they boot up a fresh match.

While the popular extraction shooter is still very new, Embark Studios has already taken a moment to let players know what they should expect from the game in the coming weeks and months. The recent roadmap for Arc Raiders mentioned that players will gain access to a new map, Stella Montis, during November. There will also be a community unlock event, along with fresh quests and gameplay items. In December, fans can look forward to experiencing the snowfall map condition, the Flickering Flames event, and even more quests to complete. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Arc Raiders.
