ARC Raiders: How To Get Supply Drops (A Better Use Quest Guide)

Players need to be resourceful when exploring the dangers of topside in ARC Raiders, as supplies are scarce and the threats are significant. Each time you are placed on a map, you’ll need to overcome the challenges of fellow Raiders and ARC machines on your way to collecting loot and getting back to safety.

One resource that can be particularly difficult to maintain is ammunition, as it can be difficult to predict just how many hostiles you will encounter. Thankfully, there is a way to top up your resources, provided you know how to get a Supply Drop in ARC Raiders.

Take a look at our Buried City interactive map for some known locations of the Supply Drops.

How To Get Supply Drops in ARC Raiders

As is the case with just about anything in ARC Raiders, players are not guaranteed to find a Supply Drop in the same place in each run. With that said, the process of acquiring one remains the same. To get a Supply Drop, players must find the associated console and interact with it to send off a signal flare.

Half of the challenge is finding a console, and the other half is safely acquiring the Supply Drop, and it’s loot. Naturally, sending off a bright and noisy flare will attract some hostile ARC or fellow players, so it is best done while playing the game with a friend, although it is not necessary. The key to acquiring the loot is to keep your eye on the flare, as a package attached to a parachute will shortly appear in place of the flare.

Once the package drops, simply approach it and hold the indicated button to loot it. Be mindful of your surroundings when you do, however, as you may have company while grabbing the gear.

How To Find Supply Drops in ARC Raiders

As indicated in the interactive map above, there are a number of known locations for Supply Drops on each of the game’s maps, but it doesn’t guarantee that there will be one in those positions each run. The challenge with Supply Drop locations is that they won’t reveal themselves until you’re close to them, so you need to be thorough in your search.

Supply Drop consoles can be quite easy to miss, but players should ensure they look out for tall, thin antennae, which can be on the corners of a building’s roof, or even situated at ground level. A good way to scope one out is to purchase and use binoculars, but this isn’t always reliable, given how hard they are to identify.
