Arrowhead Drops an Emergency Hotfix That Solves an Infuriating Problem in Helldivers 2

It’s here! Finally! The hotfix for the Stratagem issue has just landed in Helldivers 2. This issue was introduced in the latest patch, and it has ruined plenty of missions ever since. So, the devs had to prioritize solving this issue and put out an emergency hotfix.

Helldivers 2 Gets a Stratagem Input Hotfix

So, what was going on? Many players experienced an issue when calling in a Stratagem. If the player entered the commands fast, the Stratagem just wouldn’t drop. When you are fighting in the Battle for Super Earth, every second counts, so this bug annoyed many players.

Thankfully, the devs understood how game-breaking this problem was and started working on a fix right away. The hotfix dropped in Helldivers 2 three days after it was introduced in the game. The devs announced it on the official Discord server.

One of the Community Managers, miitchimus, noted: “Emergency Update incoming from high command. It has come to our attention that the Illuminate menace has scrambled our stratagem pads input matrix resulting in loss of combat strength. Issuing a firmware update to all Helldivers input pads for a stronger connection to the Super Destroyer. Fixes: Fix for fast input of stratagem commands not working correctly”.

Helldivers worldwide celebrated this fix! The devs keep proving just how much they care for the players’ experience. That’s a sign that this game will live for a long while and that we can expect great things in the future.

This fix comes just in time for the final hours of the Battle for Super Earth. The bugdivers did their part and completed the side Major Order in around 12 hours.
