Battlefield 6 could become the biggest release in October, and its global launch date is close.
EA has already been teasing us about some of the core features that will be present in the next chapter of the Battlefield franchise. We have known the release date for quite some time, but this guide will help you learn about the exact release time.
Battlefield 6 release countdown
Battlefield 6 will be released on PCs and consoles, with an identical launch schedule for all platforms.
The countdown is based on the following timings.
- 8am PDT
- 10am CDT
- 11am EDT
- 3pm UTC
- 4pm BST
- 5pm CEST
- 11pm CST
- 12am JST (Oct. 11)
- 1am AEST (Oct. 11)
While Battlefield 6 is available in different editions, there’s no early access. The Phantom edition is more expensive since it includes additional content, but everyone can start playing when the servers go live on Oct. 10.
The timings are confirmed on the console store page for Battlefield 6 (for both PlayStation and Xbox), and it’s pretty certain to be the same for PC.
Since the PC and console launches will happen simultaneously, you can’t use the New Zealand trick to play early. This method works if a game follows regional launch schedules (when released at midnight local time).
While you can’t start playing earlier with the Phantom Edition, it offers a few goodies for the extra amount you will spend.
- Battlefield Pro Token
- Phantom Squad (4 Soldier skins, 2 Weapon packages, Melee Knife weapon skin, Vehicle skin, Weapon sticker, Weapon charm, and Dog tag).
- Phantom XP Boost Set.
The Phantom edition is worth it for those looking to sink plenty of hours into Battlefield 6. However, you can simply go for the Standard Edition on a tight budget. After all, everything you obtain with the Phantom Edition is purely cosmetic and doesn’t help you win more battles.
