Big Upcoming PS5 Games Releasing In 2026

Sony’s PlayStation 5 has been around for a couple of years by this point, granting it plenty of opportunity to build up an expansive library capable of catering to the needs of most users. New PS5 games drop at an almost daily rate, ranging from smaller-scale indie projects designed by a handful of developers to massive AAA exclusives that are designed to be system sellers. In the meantime, the PlayStation 4 continues to receive love from cross-generation titles, so people who have yet to upgrade still have plenty to look forward to.

Which upcoming PS5 games will soon hit store shelves around the world? Which projects will define 2026? Although the year’s PS5 game calendar has a long, long way to go before it reaches its complete form, things are starting to shape up nicely, at least for the first few months. For all the negativity surrounding the industry, great games are not hard to come by.

The following PlayStation 5 games were added on February 2, 2026: Lovish, JDM: Japanese Drift Master, Snow Bros. Classic Collection, Crisol: Theater of Idols, Centipede Gun, Clue: Murder By Death, Under The Island, Aerial_Knight’s DropShot, Soulslinger – Envoy of Death, Love Eternal, KLETKA, Baladins, Pogui, Icarus, Towerborne, Scott Pilgrim EX, Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse, The Bearer & The Last Flame, 1348 Ex Voto, Bubblegum Galaxy, WWE 2K26, MLB The Show 26, Gear.Club Unlimited 3, New Super Lucky’s Tale, Project Songbird, Before I Go, FZ: Formation Z.

Big PS5 Games Coming In February 2026

Nioh, Resident Evil, Reanimal, & More

While January had its share of delights, it was mostly an appetizer for the rest of the year. February 2026 has so many big upcoming PS5 games that there are almost too many to keep up with. Resident Evil Requiem will probably be the year’s most popular horror game, and Nioh 3 could very well be the biggest Soulslike game.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined should be an easy recommendation to JRPG fans, even if its art style might take some getting used to. Romeo Is a Dead Man speaks directly to my love of AA hack-and-slash games, while Reanimal looks like a brilliant evolution of Little Nightmares. Honestly, these are just the tip of the iceberg.

Big PS5 Games Coming In April 2026

Capcom’s Pragmata, Saros, & More

April 2026 is still taking shape, but Saros and Pragmata already ensure the month will be an exciting one. The former is Housemarque’s latest project, one that seems to take heavy inspiration from Returnal. Pragmata might just be Capcom’s weirdest game in years, as it features child-based combat. It looks fascinating.
