BMSD 2026: Krafton India Announces Invite-Only BGMI Esports Tournament Featuring ₹1 Crore Prize Pool

Krafton India has announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown (BMSD) 2026 tournament for BGMI, featuring a prize pool of ₹1 crore.

The LAN Grand Finals are scheduled to take place from October 16 to 18 at Savaaya Convention in Gandipet, Hyderabad. The winning team will take home ₹30 lakh.

Beyond the prize pool, the top six teams from BMSD 2026 will advance to the Battlegrounds Mobile India International Cup (BMIC) 2026, where they will compete against teams from Japan and South Korea. The best-performing Indian teams will then go on to represent the country at the Global Championship 2026.

The BMSD 2026 is an invite-only championship featuring 48 of India’s top-performing teams. The teams have been selected through the KIE Leaderboard, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS), and Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS). The tournament features several popular teams, including Orangutan, GodLike Esports, Team Soul, Nebula Esports, and others.

In other news, JioBlast, in partnership with Krafton India Esports, has announced the BGMI: Gully Wars tournament, featuring a prize pool of ₹10 lakh.
