The new Major Order is finally here, and it’s… something. After the loss of Angel’s Venture, Helldivers impatiently waited for an MO to let them deal with the pent-up anger and disappointment. Many players hoped they’d face the Squids, but they’ll be fighting bugs, and not just any bugs. A previously unknown Predator strain of Terminids emerged from the Gloom, and the Helldivers 2 community has to deal with these horribly mutated creatures in the new Major Order.
Major Order Introduces Predator Terminids
On February 15, Helldivers received the new Major Order. As always, it arrived with a briefing explaining what exactly was going on. It explained that the Terminids had once again attacked Fenrir III. As you know, the Centre of Science is located on this planet, and it’s of utmost importance for these scientists to continue their research on the Meridian Singularity.
The briefing stated: “If the Terminids are not stopped, they will overrun the Centre and slaughter the innocent scientists within, which cannot be allowed to happen. Their work is far too important. All Helldivers are ordered to defend FENRIR III. The Centre of Science must not be lost”.

So, Helldivers were given 3 days to defend the Centre of Science. The only objective is to hold Fenrir III when the order expires. We’ve seen the Predator Terminids, and, truthfully, this will be quite challenging to achieve.

Helldivers Will Try Their Best to Fend Off the Predator Bugs
This Predator strain of Terminids is terrifying, that’s for sure, but it isn’t enough to stop brave Helldivers 2 players from spreading Managed Democracy and finishing the Major Order. Players gladly shared their first impressions.
Maverick0V noted: “I got to dive this morning with a full team of lvl 100s, and we barely got out with 4 reinforcement left. This MO is going to be very tough. Roaming stalkers are VERY aggressive”.
Of course, divers very quickly assessed the situation and devised strategies for dealing with these monstrous creatures. NytronX suggested: “Gas and FRV. Let’s roll around and jump these patrols. Cadets, we’re hunting them, not the other way around. Divers, dominate the map”.
Also, what we noticed, and several Helldivers confirmed, was that it was easier to face these bugs as a team, rather than solo or in a duo. EdanChaosgamer stated: “Me and my team struggled against them on difficulty 10 when we got separated. But, as a team, it’s manageable, but still hard”.
If there ever was a time in Helldivers 2 for the community to come together, it is now. This community is probably days away from the first-ever expedition into the Gloom, so let’s try to get there as soon as possible. In the meantime, you’ll find us on Fenrir III, join us. For Liberty and Super Earth.
