First, on the lowest difficulty, players will automatically have an advantage as characters will hit harder and take less damage. However, if easy difficulties are not welcomed in RPGs, then players can at least adjust the Quick Time Event sequences.
When players activate skills, a very brief QTE meter will appear. Even for QTEs, they are fast, meaning that players will have to be even better at timing those signals than dodges or parries. Make sure to give them the best gear, from weapons to Pictos, and dump Colour of Lumina items into them to build how much they can equip.
Players shouldn’t ignore the rest of the party members, though, because if the first three die, the second party will jump in to finish the battle. Still, the idea is not to die with these tips, so it’s best not to spread the wealth between six characters.
